Q.
Can I join with friend?
A. Absolutely! In
fact, we encourage folks to join with friends, as the
extra support can be extremely beneficial when working
to change your lifestyle. However, if you are joining on
your own, don’t be discouraged…we will help you develop
a support system through the groups and other activities
you can participate in.
Q. Can men join
BodyWise?
A. Men are
encouraged and welcome to join BodyWise. In response,
we’ve developed a program that is specific to men’s
issues and have separate groups for men.
Q. Can I join at any
time? Meaning, what if a group has already been started?
How can I catch up?
A. Individuals can
join at any time. Groups form regularly and we place
members into groups based on individual needs and group
dynamics. If you were to join an existing group, we will
work with you to get you any information you may have
missed.
Q. Which gym(s) does
my BodyWise
membership get me in to?
A. A membership with
BodyWise allows you
to join one of three local fitness facilities:
· The Court House Sports and Fitness
· Access Fitness
· The Gym II
Q. What if I already
belong to a gym, especially if it is not a BodyWise-affiliated
gym?
A. If you are
already a member of a gym and do not want to discontinue
your membership at that facility, we are more than happy
to work with you at that facility. We work with all the
facilities in the area and have not encountered any
issues with being able to assist you. Because you will
be financially responsible for your gym membership
(non-affiliated fitness memberships are not paid for by
BodyWise), your
BodyWise membership fee
will be reduced.
Q. How does payment
work?
A. We utilize
electronic payment from a checking or savings account
for your monthly membership fee. From that,
BodyWise pays your gym
membership (assuming you are utilizing one of our
affiliated fitness facilities) and all other costs for
the four components of the program.
Q. What if I need to
cancel my membership?
A. If you need to
cancel your BodyWise
membership at any time, we require a 30-day written
notification.
Q. How do I get
started?
A. Getting started
is easy! Contact us at 543-2900 and one of our staff
will meet with you to discuss your goals, our program,
and any concerns/issues you might have. Once you are
enrolled, we will develop your personalized fitness
plan, begin evaluating your nutritional needs, and get
you on your way to a healthier lifestyle!
Q. What if I’m not
successful in BodyWise?
A. We are confident
that our program will produce positive changes for our
members. Therefore, if you follow our plan and do not
have positive changes in fitness and/or health after
four months in the program, we will give you your next
two months of membership free.
